I used to be able to access the Internet fine but all of a sudden, I can't. My machine was loaded with Spy\Ad ware so I think that may have had something to do with it. I cleaned off all the junk I could find using AdAware and Spybot and I ran a virus test.
The strange thing is that when I hook up my network cable, it says that it's connected at 100.0 Mbps and I even tried dialing on, which worked fine (dialed, connected, said it was connected at 50.2 Kbps) but I'm not able to do anything on the Internet. I can't use IE or Netscape, I can't update my virus program or my spyware programs and I can't use Outlook Express.
So I don't know what has happened here. I'm not getting any error messages and I don't have any firewalls or anything like that that might be interfering with it. I have tried disabling the Windows Firewall but it didn't work.
Suggestions would be awsome!
THanks!

You may need to do an LSP fix or a winsock repair.
Google a search for a utility to do so.
Or you may try doing a repair install of IE.
Go into add/remove programs from the Control Panel and choose to change/remove IE and you should be given an option to repair.

Here's two links to help you out:

But unless you just love hacking the registry, I’d suggest trying this free program from Spychecker first:
