Greetings, I got a big problem with my computer :
As soon as I get my windows xp screen my keyboard and mouse stop working. I can go in the bios and all (keyboard is working before the xp screen with login appears after event clicking on num lock does nothing).
I tried using an usb keyboard and mouse and still I got the same results. I tried the repair option and other stuff like that but unfortunately since my keyboard and mouse does not work upon any xp screen I cannot finish the repair.
Anyone got any idea to help me out ?

Make sure you are using known, good keyboard and mouse, one that was used on another computer. "New" does not mean it will work.
Then verify you have plugged the keyboard into the keyboard slot and the mouse into the mouse slot. PS/2 ports are not interchangeable on some computers.
Your USB keyboard and mouse may not work until the repair is finished and USB drivers are installed. Try enabling USB legacy support in the BIOS if you must use USB equipment and see if that helps.
Good Luck

Greetings,
Both USB and PS/2 keyboards are working until I get to the win xp screen (install one because of the repair). Legacy USB is on and my bios see both mouse and keyboard.
I cannot confirm that my mouse (PS/2) works before I get to any xp screen though since I cannot test it in the bios.
As for the connections I tried mostly all combinations, PS/2 mouse, USB keyboard ... I verified the connectors and so on as well.
I thank you a lot for your help !
Anyone could provide me any solutions ?
