Hi Guys!

I have tried this in a lot of systems but everywhere i noticed that i cannot use audio catalyst 2.1 to rip audio cd's with the ASPI option enabled. After downloading ASPI drom adaptec site it still doesn't highlight the ASPI tab in Audio Catalyst 2.1

This was never a problem in Win 98/Me. I've heard that MSCDEX drivers work equally well in win xp but how can i get hold of them. please help . . .
Thanks!

MSCDEX are DOS drivers, I doubt they would work in XP.

Audiocatalyst is an older program anyway and it uses the Xing mp3 encoder which is known to be about the worst sounding encoder.

Might I suggest using a program called CDex which uses the LAME mp3 encoder and will produce a much better sounding mp3.
