Cannot see scsi drives XPinstall

I have adaptec scsi 29160N card in my Dell Precision 330 - - bios sees card but not the two factory installed hard disks, and I cannot install Windows XP Pro - - any suggestions?

You can't install software until you have working hardware.
Check your scsi termination. Try removing one drive and see if the scsi bios sees one drive.

I have a dell and for some reason they offer drivers on their site for some drives. Did you get the system at Dell as it is now configured? If so try dell site.
Your scsi bios utility ought to tell the status of the drives and their properties.
