Dell Inspiron laptop with intel pentium...

Specs: Windows XP

I use my laptop (dell inspiron 6400) everyday and all of a sudden, I can't right click anymore. I've tried everything such as going to start and right clicking on properties to see if the mouse is enabled and it is.

I can't highlight text with my mouse and right click to copy it. I can't right click at all for some reason.

Can someone please help me?

Two options:

Click on this download:
Normally you right click to save this file! But since you can't right click, just save (copy/paste) all the text to Notepad, and then select:
File > Save As
"Save as type" = All Files
Select "Desktop" as the save location
And type in the "File Name" = contextmenu.reg
Then select Save

Locate contextmenu.reg file on your Desktop
Double click on it, and select Merge
Then Restart

If that didn't work
Try Start > Run > regsvr32 /i shell32.dll
The press OK, and restart again

Please let me know which one worked :)
