cannot re image computer

i am getting a file ntkrnlmp.exe error code 14 any body give me a hand with that? This happens when I run the factory disc.

If toshiba then you may need new disks or some part of the system has failed. Like cd rom or ide controller or ram or hard drive. Playing to the angels Les Paul (1915-2009)

I have already replaced the cd and so i can update the Ram correct? or could i try and re-enstall windows?
