cannot open a file

can anyone tell me why I cannot open this file my friend had no problem and she did is forward it to me but it says this when i try this is what she send me year_sbestphotos.pps when i click on it is says this file does not have associated with it for performing this action create an association in the folder options control panel. Can anyone explain this to me please and thank you evelyn
