Cannot Network Vista Laptop to XP H

Specs: XP Pro x64, Athlon 5400+, 4GB Ra
I have a Vista Laptop that I am trying to Team up with my XP home network. I can see the network on my laptop, but it keeps asking for a password when I try to access it. I never setup a password on my XP network though. ? How do I get these two to play nice.

No. You have two. Your original located here: http://www.computing.net/answers/wi...

and this one.

Double-posting is against the rules on this site.

Well, before we get to barking about rules, I only POSTED it once, by that I mean clicked the button. So if anyone knows how I can kill the duplicate, let me know. Dual posts is totally counterproductive, and I am not an idiot. I am aware of how Forums work.

Of course you did post twice.
But anyway, create a username on Xp which is identical to your username on Vista.
