I have a Vista Laptop that I am trying to Team up with my XP home network. I can see the network on my laptop, but it keeps asking for a password when I try to access it. I never setup a password on my XP network though. ? How do I get these two to play nice.

You need to enable file and print sharing on your xp machine. Double-click on my network places and select "setup a home or small office network" and the wizard will enable it for you.

I already have all networking and File Sharing setup on XP. My whole house is networked and sharing just fine. But the Vista laptop is the one that is inaccessible.
