Cannot log on to secure sites

I cannot access any secure sites when using credit card transactions. When the 'padlock' screen appears and I click next, 'page unobtainable' appears instead of logon page. Is it because of my internet settings for security not being right?

Could be. you may have security set too tight, or you may be blocking the popup screen that a lot of secure sites generate for their logins. Do you have SP2? Are you running any third party popup blockers?
Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach him to fish and his wife will never forgive you.
