Any help with the problem I have stated below would be appreciated.

When going to Start\run\command and hitting enter I am receiving "Cannot load UDM IPX/SPX SUPPORT" as an error message at the top, inside the Dos Window. Also my Command Prompt will open to what ever directory that I have open in Windows Explorer at the time and it also doesn't matter if the open directory is on the C Drive or D Drive. When closing Windows Explorer the
Command Prompt defaults back to the correct directory C Documents and Settings.

Would anyone have any knowledge of what could be causing this to happen and also any measures that would correct this problem.

Thanks

This is what the link has to say;
"Symptom: When you open a DOS shell or if you run some programs in the DOS shell, you will get an error: Cannot load VDM IPX/SPX support
Causes: On Windows 2000 (maybe Windows XP and others), when you install CSNW and Novell's Netware client, it adds extra stuff to your autoexec.nt file. When you uninstall the client, it leaves a few turds around on your system (don't they all?) that could cause problems.
Solution: Edit your %SystemRoot%\system32\autoexec.nt file and look for these lines:
REM Install network redirector
lh %SystemRoot%\system32\nw16
lh %SystemRoot%\system32\vwipxspx
When you find them, just REM the lines out or delete them entirely.
Problem solved."

Toad, thanks for the info. It corrected the "Cannot load UDM IPX/SPX SUPPORT" problem but my Command Prompt is still opening to what ever directory on the C or D drive in Windows Explorer that I have open at the time. Is this normal? If not, then what could be possibly causing this to happen?

Thanks
