|Be logged on to Windows 7 with admin rights. Go to "C:\Program Data" and try to delete the "Real" directory. If you are told you don't have rights, forcibly take ownership of the "Real"directory and then delete it. Then retry running the Realplayer14 installer and it see if it works now. |
If you are running another version of Windows, search the C: drive for folders named "Real" in program areas, not user areas, and try the same delete/force-ownership strategy. The installer is hitting a directory that it can't write to and halting, and this will circumvent that.
