Specs: Windows XP
I have several versions of KnowledgeAdventure'
s Reading Blaster and Math Blaster which will not run as guest, or any other non-admin sign on, but will run with a sign on that has admin privledges. Whoever had my position before did get some versions working under non-admin IDs, but any new installs I make don't work. I get the error: "Atlas runtine module has detected an error and must close" and it abends. Any help appreciated.

You'll probably need to set modify permissions for Guest on the application folders .

I have yet to hear that the guest security issues have been corrected. It was a big hole that would let all sorts of mal in.

Most programs can be adjusted with xp pro. With pro you have more control over the file attributes and registry keys. If you can back track the issues or read in forums you can modify either the folders or the registry keys to allow limited users to run these poorly written programs.

I never tried xp home but it might work also.
