I read in this forum about a program that fixes XP problems that have this message "not suitable for msdos". I had this program installed for 3 years on XP and not it won't run. It is a windows program. Also short cuts change and are missing. I checked for virus, spyware with a couple of program etc. The only place that I could find on the net to get this program XP_Fix.exe is not on line http://www.visualtour.com/
Does anyone know where I get this program or a XP fix like it.

Psalm. 1:2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD

Any links you find will probably just go back to the homepage (which isn't working as you said). If the message says anything about autoexec.nt, you should be able to find a spare copy in c:\windows\repair that you can copy and paste into c:\windows\system32.
If you're still having trouble, see this KB article.

Connie, Here's the link for the XP_FIX.exe download. I just tried the link and it's working.
Here's another link with basically the same fix.
The links below explains what may be causing the problem (Malware).

Thanks for your help. I did a Google search which took me to the link with no page then I did find a cache page they had. I emailed Visual Tour they emailed me the link. The link is now working at http://www.visualtour.com/downloads/default.asp for XP_Fix.exe

I forgot to mention I installed the fix file and the program that did not work is now working again.
