Comment:

Whenever I attempt to open or save a Word or Excel attachment sent through email (yahoo), I cannot download the attachment. No error messages are given but the pop up box does not provide an estimated time left or download or transfer rate (and no green lines running across the box). Any ideas? Thanks in advance, Jane

I am not sure I follow you. Did the sender include separate file as attachment?

Yes, they are separate files that were attached to an email.

Downloaded Windows Internet Explorer 8 provided by Yahoo. I was able to save one Word doc sent to me in an email today (couldn't do this earlier) but when I tried another document, it didn't work. Any other suggestions?

What browser were you using originally? If IE, try another one... Like Firefox..
