Okay so, someone told me to uninstall IE 8, cause then i could see who was following my blog, so I did, but now I cant download anything. I am using the internet with no add ons. No address bar, no tools menu, my favorites list is gone. I cant even click on the internet options icon in the "control panel". When i do click on it, it doesnt do anything. Have i accidentally corrupted a file? Oh and no active x either, but like i said no download capabilities. Cant update adobe, re install IE 8. I am still online, just barely. Oh and I cannot copy or paste anything. the icons always say "to run this applications we need to know who created it" or something like that. I did a system restore, but doesnt work. And when i restarted my computer after the restore, it flashed an error message that was too quick to read. Please help. I am trapped. No money for new or to even have someone fix this one computer, need to fix this. PLEASE!!

Shirley X , "it flashed an error message that was too quick to read. " Maybe I can help with that. Try the pause/break button at the extreme right of the 'F' row. Sometimes that pauses scrolling to give you time.
As for the rest, dunno.
HTH.
