Cannot Download

CPU/Ram: DC 3.4GHz / 1GB
Product: HP DX7300

When I try to download something from the internet the download starts and download window open and within seconds my PC shuts down. I have restarted and checked again but it happened again. I tried IE and Firefox too but the same thing happened. Can any one help me to solve this problem

Have you ever been able to downlaod from the Internet ? Does anything else force your PC to shutdown ? If it's only the Internet, then the first thing that comes to mind is some sort of virus, etc. If other things also force your PC to shutdown, then overheating or RAM problems would be a possibility.

If your problems are of recent, download, install and run GMER (gmer.net). Possibility of rootkit. But some remote possibilities of failing RAM.

Post you gmer log here if possible.
