I can't get spell check to work with outlook express 6, it keeps coming up with an error has occured when checking spelling

Do a Google search for spell check Outlook Express.
There are many solutions available. You don't say if you have MS Office or Word installed, this can make a difference as to how to fix the problem.

keefabear: by default OE does not come with a spell checker. you have to have MS Office or Works installed for this to be an option. if you have one of these programs, install it.
open Outlook Express 6 Tools, Options, Spelling and check: 'Always check spelling before sending' it is not turned on by default.
