I need to reinstall Windows XP
- I have no 3"1/2 drive
- I have no Windows XP bootable CD
- I have no Cd-rom writer
- My hard disk has bad sectors thus Partition Magic do not work to create a new bootable partition
- I have Windows XP PRO install directory on my hard disk. It is the original install with no Service Pack.
- When I run WINNT32, It says my version of Windows is more recent than the install version. The "Continue" and "Don't display this message anymore" controls are grayed. No command line switch can be found to disable this message (i've tried them all).

So how can I do ? I need experts here.

Borrow a friend's Windows XP CD.

Boot to it and delete all partitions, then recreate, and do a long format, which will inspect and clean all bad sectors.
