Have secunia program and it tells me that Adobe reader 9.1, Itunes and Java (TM) 6 update 12 are dangerous and need updating. I have not been able to update them and when I tried to uninstall them I found I couldn't. I thought you could uninstall any program from the list provided in control panel. Need help here.

humblejohn, some files are protected files within Windows and can only be deleted from outside (usually before it starts). Take a look within each proggies folder. Some have uninstallers that work within Windows. Google uninstallers? HTH. Ed in Texas.
