I'm moving files to hd. Theres a few files left, when I copy them I get a message (see subject) that there isn't enough space and to do a disk cleanup. I run it, then I check my hd, theres 170 gigs left and the folder is 6 gigs. I've tried 2 different hd's.

sounds like the OS or other program you have open is using the folder and has open files.

Open files won't copy.

One way of getting around this is to boot via something like BartPE [google it for the how to]

Education is key to prevention. Prevent conception you prevent abortion.

Abstinence training clearly isn't working.

Exactly. What files are you trying to copy?

I'm copying iso, .mkv, and alcohol files. And I'll try the BartPE.

those files won't be open by anything.

run chkdsk /r on your drive to check for file system corruption.
