Computer won't boot from any CD at all cd drive shows up in windows but doesn't in BIOS or anything please help i need to test out ophcrack for friend Thanks scuzzywuzzy. NOTE:computer works fine

The drive won't show in Windows if it doesn't show in the BIOS.

If you cant find the boot order sequence in the bios look to see if there is any option to enter a boot menu when you first turn on the computer. If you can get into the boot menu you can just manually select it to boot from the CD Drive temporarly.
If you cant find the CD drive in the BIOS at all, then thats another story. you shouldn't see it in windows if the BIOS doesn't display it.
