Hello,

I am unable to activate an OEM copy of Windows XP professional. Specifically, at the logon I receive the message "This copy of windows has not been activated".

I then try to log in to windows to activate it. I receive a prompt saying that before I am able to log in I must activate windows. I am able to select either "yes" or "no" .

When I select "yes" the machine starts to load windows but then automatically logs out and returns me to the log in screen.

How do I get past this problem to activate windows?
