I recently had to do a system recovery for my XP system. It fixed the problem, but then I noticed that all my messengers (yahoo/gtalk/windows live) do not redirect to links or my mail when i click them. Yahoo IM says 'this file does not have a program associated with it' when i try to click on my mail button. The other IMs just do nothing when i click the links/mail icons. I tried reinstalling the messengers and Firefox but it didn't help; same problem. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, any suggestions on fixing it?? Please let me know. Thanks! =)

psha85, my SWAG, when you 'restored' you went to a time prior. Try RIGHTCLICKING on one of the files and 'open using' (pick one) and tic the 'always use' box (you can change it later if desired). HTH. Ed in Texas.
