Comment:

I recently had to do a system recovery for my XP system. It fixed the problem, but then I noticed that all my messengers (yahoo/gtalk/windows live) do not redirect to links or my mail when i click them. Yahoo IM says 'this file does not have a program associated with it' when i try to click on my mail button. The other IMs just do nothing when i click the links/mail icons.

I tried reinstalling the messengers and Firefox but it didn't help; same problem. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, any suggestions on fixing it?? Please let me know. Thanks! =)

psha85, my SWAG, when you 'restored' you went to a time prior. Try RIGHTCLICKING on one of the files and 'open using' (pick one) and tic the 'always use' box (you can change it later if desired).
