cannot access isp homepage or email

I have a friend that cannot access his isp homepage or his email from them.. He can surf everywhere else and can use msn messenger. We have turned off his firewall and checked for spyware and viruses. tries resetting all security settings and set email and ie6 to default... Hope someone can help,, just ask if you need more info.

Is he getting an error message or what exactly happens, he needs to call his ISP and explain the situation to them.

He is just getting a page cannot be displayed.... he has talked to them and they say everything is ok there end...

its www.tpg.com.au... I can go there no worries.. my friend cant. it only started today. He cant send or recieve emails either.. it seems to be only to do with the tpg site.. he can surf anywhere else....

Here is some info to look at: Description of a Personal Firewall See Possible Issues section: 1.You may receive "Page cannot be displayed" error messages in Microsoft Internet Explorer ---------------------- Error Message:"Page Cannot be Displayed" When You Browse the Internet
Under "Advanced Search": Next to the word FOR, type:
Page cannot be displayed
Then click the arrow button. You can now look through some articles for yourself, to see if there is any help there. Plenty of articles about- "Page cannot be displayed" NOTE: Check the bottom of any article to see if it applies to your edition of XP (Home or Pro).
