Can XP act as a router

CPU/Ram: P IV ,256 MbRAM

I installed two net work cards in a XP home edition system and gave two different Network id s to them .from XP machine i can communicate to two networks but from other system s i am not getting other network why gatway setting and all is correct.please help me
