I have Java7u7 ithat must be updated. 7u11 did not update. Now Java has another 7u13 and I can not update. Java says to removeolder versions of Javas but I get when I use Add/Remove I get an error "Fatal error during installation!"
There are various free Java uninstallers about, which I can't vouch for. This, from MS, should be a safe bet (see FixIt button). It should give you a list of programs so you, obviously, choose Java:
