Comment:

I have changed the miRc.exe file type to wordpad by mistake, after that I suffer now.
I can not open any .exe file, all .exe file will automatically open with wordpad. I can not run regedit too, it also open with wordpad.

Can anyone help? Thanks.

This problem is only related to .exe file, but I don't know why I can still use IE and connect to Internet.

Please Help!! Urgent.

I've emailed you a registry fix with instructions on applying it - post back if you still have problems.

Australia999. You could also go to the link below and download the Fixswen.inf file. Save the fixswen.inf file to your local hard disk, right-click on the file and choose install.

Fixswen Tool

It should correct your problem.
