I have a cable connection and for the most part it is great, but recently I have had two seperate instantces where my computer refuses to connect to the Internet. I was on one minute and walked away from my computer. When I came back, I was booted off and can't get back on. When I call my ISP they run a check on my modem and tell me that everything is OK with the modem and the signal coming in. They say it is my computer and that the signal is not going out. I have run Spy Sweeper, Adware and Virus Scan and cleaned up my computer. I have defragged, deleted all cookies, cleaned up the temp internet files and done two system restores to times previous when my connection was fine, but still no luck. I have been down now for 3 days and I am stumped. I don't know what else to do. Does anyone have any history of a similar situation or does anyone know what I should do to fix this. HELP!!!!
