Hello everyone: Strangely, I came across this problem today. Everything worked fine till yesterday. After trying out various things suggested on this web page and other web pages, following is what worked out for me. I hope, this will be useful to somebody out there.
My configuration is: cable modem <--> linksys router <-->(Ethernet) Laptop with windows XP. =========================================== - run http://www.dslreports.com/front/DRT... - blank out MTU field for all the interface cards and dial up connections. - reboot the PC - try out your email now...It should work. ===========================================

Try emptying out the web cache, the temporary files. Make sure the cookies are turned on enough to login because at least yahoo needs such to login. -Are able to access other internet sites and just having issues with the login still then? -Make sure your web settings, browser settings are correct still and that such programs are functioning properly in other instances because it helps narrow down the problem.
