can not access my drive

hey guys
i had win 2000 pro and a NTFS drive d: and just administrator was allowed to access this drive....but now when being a administrator i installed xp pro on my pc....when i try to access my drive d: i get a message "access is denied" when i see the properties of this drive the file system is Raw and used and free space is zero bytes....i have just xp pro windows...so plz tell me how can i access my drive or recover my data?plz reply soon...your response will be appreciated....

have you got access to another (preferably 2k) machine you could slave the drive to & see if data visible there?

Disd you use overlay software (like maxblast) when originally setting up the partition?
