On the 1st August I downloaded some sort of image viewer for my computer by accident. This installed colourful shortcuts all over my desktop. I deleted all traces of this program I could find, but the problem is I can no longer gety online. I have broadband, and my box is still flashing as normal, recognising my PC and suggesting that I am connected as normal. My connection settings are all enabled and to be honest nothing seems to be initially wrong. However none of my programs can get online, WinMX, explorer, MSN etc. Usually I can see what is wrong or what might needs altering, however, i am really stumped on this one. Any suggestions?????? By the way, I've done all the usual unplugging - plugging combinations that often seem to work, but to no avail!
