Is it possible that Memtest86 from my boot menu messed up my windows?

Whenever I try to log into windows it freezes at various points whether it be loading into the screen with the users. Trying to log in as a user, or actually loading all the start up items when it first gets into the user account.

Another couple of notes:

Pressing f10 before the GRUB loads doesn't bring up system restore..
Safe Mode doesn't load unless it's Safe mode with command prompt
System Restore froze when I was able to get into it from Safe mode with command prompt

Memtest should not mount any drives so it would be almost impossible.

Bad memory or really any part can corrupt the whole thing.

Sounds like you borked your restore partition with linux install.

Yes. If you cannot access the restore, then you will need to try a repair next.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
If all else fails, read instructions.
