Can I Use My Mac Hard Drive On XP?

Sure just go to the manufacture and download an Erase or Format Utility and blank the drive.

can i do it from within windows or dos? or like fdisk? or will that not recognize it?partition magic? anything like that. because its a firewire hard drive and i dont even know what company made the hard drive. thanks

since it is firewire, when you plug it in winxp should load the drivers for it and everything... you just need to go under Administrator Tools in your Control Panel... launch Computer Management.. in that you can see your drive (if xp loaded the drivers) so you can format it to NTFS or whatever.. good luck and hope this helped
