I have two(2) PC's at home. One of them is a Media Center and the only thing it does is record TV and stuff like that. Both of the PC's are MCE including the one I use for browsing and everything. I know that I can watch any stuff that I have recorded on one PC or the other.
But can I see Live TV? I know that in the Xbox 360 you can and that with the Extender you can, but with another PC?

I want to be able to put Live TV on PC #1 and see it on the other PC #2 thru the network LIVE.

Can I do that?

Well you would have to transfer over to the other computer by the network depending on the size of the file. Depending if you have a router, In this case it sound like you do. Just go to control panel and go to network setup wizard that way you can share the files out after restart make sure you do this on both system. After restart, right click on the file and select permissions and security and select sharing, make sure that the bottom two are ticked and you should be able to transfer. Make sure that the computer that you are trying get the file from is shared out. And it should be able to work.

:-) TV isn't a file

You can not view TV on a pc that doesn't have a TV tuner card by having TV reception travel from one pc with tuner card to a pc without a tuner card.

There maybe software out there that could do this.

What you CAN do is enable remote desktop or VNC but I don't believe sound will travel with either one.

Give a person a fish, they eat for a day. Suggest they internet search and they learn a skill for a lifetime.
