can i have two operating systems?

i have windows xp home ed. which is good for most things but 98 is better for games.
can i have both operating systems windows xp and 98 on the computer, and if so, do i just have to install 98?

You need to install Windows 98 first, because it modifies certain boot areas.
After you installed 98, install windows xp from 98, selecting the new installation at the first setup screen(not upgrade), and install it on a diferent partition, so that there won`t be version conflicts.

Win 98 must be first on. Xp can go anywhere.

If you use a 3rd party boot manger you can install W98 after XP, but installing W98 first is recommended
