Can i delete these files ?

I ran a virus search and found alot of infected files in C:\FOUND.001 , i cant access this folder by going in to i type it in the address bar.All the files inside are .chk

.chk files are created by CHKDSK when it fixes errors in the file structure on your hard drive. They are files, or parts of files, that can't be rescued under their original name.
Normally these files are pretty useless and there is not much value in saving them *except* if you are missing some documents or other important data files. Sometimes, particularly with word processing documents, it is possible to salvage at least the text content of the document from the .CHK file.
But other than that they just clutter up the hard drive and are normally safe to delete.
