Can i choose which components to install

I know i can remove some of them after installation by editing sysoc.inf. But is there a way to *not install* them? Thanks.

As far as I can tell and from I read you don't have control over what is installed. However it is possible to remove things aftwards even if not in add/remove. Go to this site to see how.

Which componenets do you mean, like Paint, fax services etc, on my machine it did not install them initially I had to go and install them through add/remove windows components
