Hi there! I am using the classic view for my XP. BUt I hate the gray colour! I like the look of it, I just want to change my taskbar color to something else. I tried looking up the appearance tab from display properties, but I can only change the color of the windows, not the taskbar itself. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks so much! take care

There may be a way to do it if you hack the registry or explorer.exe file, but the easiest way is to get Style XP, it lets you skin your OS.
here's the link. http://www.tgtsoft.com/

Squall, Control panel - double click on display - click on the appearance tab - click on advanced click on the down arrow in item, then click on 3D objects and then choose the down arrow by color and click on your color. Hope this helps - Marty
