Comment:

This only happens to video files. I can delete them, but cannot copy or move or view them. It gives me "Access is denied" when i try to copy or move. And when i try to play, Windows Media Player gives me "File not found" error.

All these files are currently on my D: drive. I used to have this drive as my system drive.

Any clue what causes this?
Thank you very much.
Norman

Could it be the security permissions on the video file?

right click the file properties->security make sure all names dont have deny next to them?

thank you for the reply. Where is this security option you spoke of? I right click the file in Windows Explorer and it only shows the General and Summary info, as usual.
