Can connect with admin but not user

I've got this XP Pro trying to connect to a WinNT 4 Server. The problem is that the computer can connect to the domain only while using the domain admin account. If I try with a user (even if I had it to the administrators groups on the computer to the domain)...it won't connect... I get a "Windows cannot connect to the domain.
