Hi Everyone,
I am Using Toshiba Tecra 9100 Laptop,In bios there is option for Booting External or Internal HDD.My Q's
1)Can i boot with External HDD which have USB Interface?
2)IF yes then any Brand of External HDD will be compatiable or Only Toshiba Brand will work.?
3)By Booting with Ext harddisk the Memory speed will be the same or it will slow down?

Reason i want to boot up with Ext HDD to install Softwares Like Oracle,SAP for R&D.

Thanks in Advance.
Regards
Krishna

I guess this is imposible.
You can't set the Master and Slave harddisks on a Laptop!
Also a USB interface doesn't have quickly access to binairy information from the laptop. Maybe it's better to buy a new laptop and connect the External Harddisk to a normal PC.
