Hi, I'd like to buy an adapter that would allow me to connect my boat laptop ( Dell- Win ME 600mhz 128 ram )to my dsl at home so I can do the updates faster.I have no access to dial up internet anymore. My laptop has no ethernet plug in.I know I have seen some that I think plug into the usb port on the laptop but I need to be sure of what they are called before I buy.Thanx!!!

i think that if you burned them to a cd it would be faster. but i found this;

I use a usb ethernet adapter for my old laptop and it works fine. They will cost about 30-40 bucks.
