Is anybody having the same problem as me? For about a week now, I can not loggin to my hotmail account. I have messenger and it logs in fine but when I click on the messages link that takes me to the hotmail account, page comes up a lot of msn.page errors like it is trying hard to reach the page but never gets there. I thought it was the messenger but I tried going to www.hotmail.com and can't reach the page to login either. Can anybody try this for me?

It hangs on a blank page from msn.hotmail.com bla bla bla. Just a blank page.

Now, I have mailwasher and I'm able to access the hotmail account and read (through mailwasher) the messages but that's it.

I am using windows 2000, IE 6.0 and I tried in XP and couldn't access the hotmail page to login.

Oh, thank you guys for your responses. Xfff, It worked! I got to the darn hotmail.com page but can't login. I mean I enter the username and password and it takes me to the screen to enter it again. My username and password are right and hotmail doesn't give a "you enter the wrong password" or something the like. Just another screen to enter them again. What is this all about?

A longshot, but have you tried emptying / deleting all cookies, and all off-line content?
I ask because I had a similar situation with Yahoo; same as you describe. A never ending loop where I could not log-in, despite my entering all correct info.
Anyway, in my case, it turned out to be either a cookie problem, or a corrupt cookie. Once I deleted everything, all was once again well.
With the (bad / corrupt?) cookie, it would not recognize me, or let me log-in no matter what I tried. So, it might be a longshot, but you might wish to check it out and see if it helps you a little. Good luck...hope this helps!
