Let's see if you smarties can help me out with my small annoying problem:

I have a Canon Digital camera. When I plug it into the computer, "Canon ZoomBrowser" opens.....which is fine, I don't mind that, that's what supposed to happen! BUT!! For some reason, as the "Canon ZoomBrowser" is opening, "Norton Antivirus 2002" also opens and tries to install itself. If I let it continue, "Norton Antivirus 2002" asks me to insert a CD into the D drive. Do any of you know a way I can prevent "Norton Antivirus 2002" from opening when all I really want is "Canon ZoomBrowser"? I assume some of you are not familiar with these programs I am using (Norton I know you know) but as long as you understand the issue occurring. One program triggers another to open. If anyone can help out, or explain why this happens, I'd appreciate it!

You can refer to two useful places for this problem which are the norton technical support & your Camera's technical support.
(website or phone)
Although they might not give you the answer; they might give you some clues.
I think it is also useful to know which one has been installed first.

Sounds to me like Norton Crap came preinstalled when you bought the computer.

Any time a new or networked drive appears, such as canon camera, Norton may be triggered to start the install to protect your OS from the new drive.

Start msconfig at the run command and select startup tab.
Remove any reference to Norton Antivirus.

Or wait for genius...

Yes, Norton is already installed on my system. It does start up when the computer does as checked in MSCONFIG, but I always kept it there to prevent any "hacks" which may occur while surfing the internet (so I don't have to turn it on everytime I go online). I'll go ahead and try turning it off to see if it solves the problem, thanks for all your responses!
