Hi I've just bought a Mustek DV5000 digital video camera, and I recorded some video onto it, so I installed the driver successfully, but when I connect the USB cable to the camera I get nothing. No communication between the camera and PC at all. Does anyone know what may be causing this?

This might sound like a bit of a boneheaded response but have you made sure it is switched on? Many people forget that they have to do this in order for it to be recognised, the camera must usually be put into viewing mode.
Another suggestion is to, if possible, connect it to your computer with a different USB lead or try connecting it to a friends computer.
