I apologize for the length of this post. I've been having problems with a an error crashing many of my programs frequently. The error comes up as: "Error: LoadLibrary (~e5d141.tmp)" I opened this file in wordpad, and got this: SING error

Heap/Stack/Runtime/Floating point> are cpu internal functions. Errors concerning these functions are brought on by operating system problems. Since you stated it came back after replacing the hard drive then I would move the drive down the list of possiblities. The common theme here is the same os is giving the same results. Since you also stated that it crashes many of your programs pointing to any one program is almost impossible.
My p4 chip came with a cd. On the cd is the drivers for the cpu. If you have that reload them. Also if you are running VIA chip set get the 4 in 1 drivers. Stabled out my system in a hurry.
If none of all that helps then look into getting a new copy of xp pro. The one you have may be a bad copy.
The very last thing would be replacing the cpu chip.
