Check in your BIOS and ensure you have the boot order set to boot from your CD/DVD first, before booting from the hard drive.

It matters not how straight the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate;
I am the captain of my soul.

sox3d where do you think this Caldera dos is coming from?

What files are listed on the root of this cd/dvd?
Do you have Caldera loaded on anything in your pc?

Those would be correct folders/files.

if you have no caldera dos on the hard drive, usb or anything only conclusion I can come to is its the cd despite what files you are listing.

You mention multiple xp cds, where did these come from?

I would suspect the boot loader on these is caldera not xp which is why you are seeing this behavior.
