For some reason the MS calculator keeps popping up unexpectedly. I have SP2 and SP3 installed. I have heard weird things from SP3 lately. Could this be the problem?

Seems you have malicious software installed that is doing this. BTW, SP3 for Windows XP has not been released yet - You must have SP2. First, go to the Start menu, click Programs, then go to the Startup folder, and ensure Calculator is not in there - If it is delete it.. Also, download and install Lavasoft Ad-Aware 1.06 by going to www.lavasoftusa.com - Update the definition file then scan for malicious files and delete what it finds then give your machine a reboot. If it still shows up, go into your windows registry by click Start, Run, then typing "regedit" and clicking OK. Browse to LOCAL MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Windows/Current Version/Run and delete any executables that are suspicious. Do the same for CURRENT USER/Software/Microsoft/Windows/Current Version/Run.

SP3 for what? Windows XP only goes to SP2. There is an SP3 for MS Office, but there is nothing wrong with that.
Under what circumstances does the calculator pop up? Is it running a specific application or does it do it at random times?
