I'm going to be getting the Optimum Voice service for my phones. (http://www.optimumvoice.com/). I already have Optimum Online and Optimum TV. I'm wondering if having the phone service too will effect the speed of my internet since that will be coming off of the main line into my house? Does anyone have a service similar to this and if you do, did it affect internet speed? Thanks.

It will eventually affect all services if they overload the bandwidth with subscribers. The more subscribtions the narrower the bandwidth.
Lessons learnt the hard way are not easily forgotten.

I just talked to an Optimum service person. They said it won't effect the internet speed since the cable internet and cable phone are on different bandwiths. Thanks.
